Emmanuel Goldstein is a fictional character from George Orwell's "Nineteen Eighty-Four" who was once one of the senior leaders of the Revolution alongside the mysterious Big Brother that brought down the capitalist system in Oceania. Now, he is Public Enemy Number One of the entire superstate.
