Luminess is a Monster, specifically a Dreamythical. He would love to explore the Monster World, but can't due to needing Catalyzt to keep existing because they're imaginary. They wish they have the freedom to leave, but can't due only leave if Catalyzt leaves. Even then, he's not really real.
