The Otamatone (Japanese: オタマトーン, Hepburn: Otamatōn) is an electronic musical synthesizer. Shaped like an eighth note, the ribbon controller on its stem is what can be used to control the notes being played by it as the sound comes from the Otamatone's "head". It was developed in Japan.
